Settings → System Mode has two choices you can use today. Switching keeps the last setup for each mode, so you can move back without rebuilding it.
Basic
The sidebar calls this Basic Mode. It is the guided site: quick actions, Storm Mode, EV preferences, and schedules. Self-sufficiency, carbon-aware, and schedules hide while a VPP operator is in control of the site, so a fleet rule and a local schedule do not fight.
Advanced
The sidebar calls this Advanced Mode. This is where price points and automation policies live: time windows, battery state of charge, buy and sell price, solar forecast, and the device actions those constraints trigger. Policies run in priority order.
