Dusk Energy was founded to get more value out of distributed energy resources. We started with smart hardware and EV chargers, then changed course: the bottleneck is orchestration, not another box on the wall.

We now build a software-only stack. By connecting directly to device APIs in the cloud, we run the digital rails for the decentralised energy market.

Australia leads the world in residential rooftop solar, but most sites still operate in isolation.

Dusk Energy is a dual-layer software platform:

Gridkeeper gives homeowners and businesses control of generation, storage, EV charging and loads, automated against retailer tariffs and wholesale spot prices.

Watchtower gives retailers and VPP operators an aggregation engine to run those sites as a fleet and support the grid.

Dusk Energy is building the software layer for Australia’s distributed energy system: Gridkeeper at the site, Watchtower across the fleet. We connect the solar, storage, EV chargers and loads already on the grid, then orchestrate them against wholesale prices, retailer tariffs and demand-response events.

The opportunity is structural. Australia has one of the world’s densest rooftop-solar fleets, and those assets still run in isolation. We are here to turn them into a coordinated, investable energy network — for households, for retailers and VPP operators, and for the grid.
